yes, i walked….

hub went out and watched some bands with his biker friends (friends being not so much)…and he came home and i got my pink sneaker on and walked..not one miles or two mile but as far as i could (as my knees let me)..

dammit……i did it

  1. First off, well done. I am concerned if you are having problems with your knees, though. I don’t know if this is even an option for you, but swimming might be a better aerobic activity, since it spares the joints considerably. If you belonged to a gym w/a swimming pool (I think the “Y” has such facilities), that might help.

    Just a thought.

  2. Awesome job! I love walking and enjoying the early morning or evening. My knees pain me a little at first but then they get stronger as I keep doing the exercise. For instance, I haven’t jogged for awhile because it’s cold out so when I start up again, I will have to slowly and carefully add distance until my knees regain their strength. Oh well, gotta start somewhere!
