  1. Good Morning, Carolina Girl, thanks for your thoughts. For myself thinking or saying the words “giving up something” feels like a downer and leads to feeling deprived which leads to “bad behavior” such as doing just the opposite, then getting frustrated with myself. Heaven knows I don’t need any further help getting down on myself. I’m trying to turn it around and say to myself what positive things can I add to my life? I can add daily walking, rest and relaxation, play, healthy foods, self-nurturing like bubble baths. When I start adding things, without even noticing, the less desirable things begin to fall away as there are not enough hours in the day to do it all.
    Have a great day! Today I’m taking my dog to a park to play and watch birds.

    • i dont like giving up anything aka food wise as it tends to put in a diet mode……giving up something is what is more important…then that 2nd helping or health? walk 2 blocks instead of not walking at all…..

      if i do one thing……one at a time..i am hoping to gain some of my self confidence back that i lost……
