this was a question i was sent this morning to answer.
the answer is very very simple.
we ate more calories than we burned off and hence why..
it is the reason anyone with a weight problem gained weight.
the sugar plum fairy did not use a magic wand over our heads and TADA
it was there…it was due to excess calories.
the food is ate by US
we have to get back to what we did before
eat better choiced items (fresh vs processed/fast food)
exercise (do what you can as even a little is better than none)
and drink a lot (stay hyrdrated) and stay busy and eat ONLY hungry
if you are truly hungry, eat
eating is not bad
eating (whatever) is not bad (every so often is a ok)
so you gained weight?
OK
that does NOT make you bad..truly it dont…get off pity party
put your high heels back on
head up….shoulders back…….
move forward
dont live in the past….its no longer there
Actually you don’t gain weight because of how many calories you eat or burn. It’s because of what you eat. It’s all explained in the book “Good Calories, Bad Calories” by Gary Taubes. You should read it. If you are “on the diet” but gaining weight you owe it to yourself to find out why that is true for you. You have been given bad advice.
yes, it is due to what one eats…..and in my view as i was nearly 350 pounds not that long ago, also how much……one doesnt eat 3 #3 from mcdonalds and sit on her ass and NOT gain weight..
we agree to disagree but we are both correct.
three number 3s contain three buns, three bags of fries, three sugary drinks. to tell everyone that calories are all that matter is not helpful to people that are on reduced calorie, but that are eating too much carb in what they are eating. they gain weight anyway, or starve. Just eat no carbs and lose weight. It’s not hard. You should still read that book. Give me your address and I will send you a copy.
thank you
