I am eating some brusnwick stew for my lunch
Recipes for Brunswick stew vary greatly, but it is usually a tomato-based stew, containing various types of lima beans/butter beans, corn, okra, and other vegetables, and one or more types of meat. (pulled pork/chicken). Eastern North Carolina Brunswick Stew has potatoes, which thickens it considerably.
The stew essentially resembles a very thick vegetable soup with meat. The key distinguishing factor between soup and Brunswick stew is the consistency. Brunswick stew must be thick; otherwise, it would be vegetable soup with meat added. Most variations have more meat and vegetables than liquid.
Looks delicious! I’m having a mesquite chicken breast with home-made bacon on top & a strawberry banana smoothie with vanilla Greek yogurt mixed in for added protein.
now that sounds YUMMY…was only able to eat about 1/4 of the bowl…to much spice for my no gall bladder self LOL…
That looks good – and filling!
thank you π
all i missed was the corn bread but that is a nope π¦
Looks good. I had leftover pasta with shrimp, an apple with peanut butter, and a chocolate cookie. On my program I can have dessert, just half of it. LOL!

I can’t eat tuna (yuck) due to WW in 1974. They said eat fish 5x week. I are tuna 5x a week for months. Now I can’t stand tuna, not even fresh tuna. LOL
Omg that looks good!
